Objective

The students will be familiar with the ethical foundations of the social and healthcare sector.
They will identify and understand the values and concepts of humanity present in their work and understand the significance of these concepts and values in promoting trust, empathy and empowerment when interacting with customers. The students will perceive and understand their customers' life situations, position and rights within social and healthcare. They will understand the underprivaleged and different life situations and can act professionally in accordance with their clients' service requirements and what is best for their clients.

Content

Ethical foundations of social services, values, the employee's concept of humanity, promoting customer safety, professional competence, dialogue, case management from an ethical and socially sustainable perspective, self-monitoring in the social services sector, ethically sustainable multidisciplinary cooperation.

10 hours/online lectures.
