Objective

The studies focus on various workplace communication situations and preparation for them. The studies provide tools for clear, goal-oriented, and effective professional communication. Additionally, topics such as performance anxiety and its management are addressed.

As a communicator, nonverbal messages, visualization, effective communication, performance anxiety.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Pass:
The student analytically reflects on their own communicator profile and is able to identify their strengths and areas for improvement as a speaker.

The student is capable of analyzing the nonverbal communication of their communication partner in various aspects. They also take verbal communication into account in their own presentations.

The student is able to use various methods to illustrate their oral presentations. They can target their speech to the audience based on listener analysis. They know how to use different argumentation techniques in their speech and can also analyze and evaluate the argumentation of their communication partner.

The student understands factors that affect performance anxiety and knows how to utilize methods to accept and alleviate it.

The student is capable of preparing and delivering an impactful speech.

Fail:
One or more of the above criteria are not met.

Execution methods

A non-stop implementation course that can be started according to one's own schedule.

Accomplishment methods

Online course, familiarization with the material, assignments to be submitted (video and written tasks). Completing the course requires approximately 81 hours of student work.
