The student:

• Is familiar with Finnish health care legislations, related to patient rights and professional responsibilities.
• Understands the structure and key actors in the Finnish social and health care system and their roles in service provision and regulation.
• Recognizes the importance of professional identity and the nurse’s core competences in delivering safe and quality care.
• Understands the principles of evidence-based practice and is committed to applying them in nursing care.
• Complies with data protection and privacy regulations when handling client information.
• Uses social media responsibly in a professional nursing context.
• Demonstrates awareness of cross-cultural and inclusive nursing practices.
