Objective
Events are increasingly seen as tools for regional development. Event production and demand form a network-based, regionally influential structure. The economic significance of events is emphasized when looking at the growth of tourism and local demand associated with events, while the regional economic impact of events can be viewed in terms of regional attractiveness or image, but also critically.
The student is able to classify events by type. They are able to apply the knowledge they have acquired to the strategic and operational planning and management of events. In addition to the economic impact of events, he is able to identify and evaluate their social and cultural impact. The student gets the tools and skills to measure the financial impact of events. The student is able to proactively construct and develop different networks of actors at a regional event.

The student is able to analyze, reflect and critically evaluate the strategic and operational planning and management of events. They will be able to gather information on the impact of the event and apply and develop the event and related networks based on the information produced.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student is able to identify, analyze and operationalize theoretical information for event development. The student is able to observe and evaluate events as well as social and cultural phenomena. He / she is able (in theory) to measure the economic impact of events with appropriate tools.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student is able to name and describe the most important types of events. He / she can apply theoretical knowledge in support of event analysis and planning. They will be able to identify and map the regional impact of the event.
