Objective

Students will be able to acquire and use information related to their field of studies critically and develop their professional communication skills. They will be able to produce appropriate language and style for different situations while being familiar with the main types of professional texts and able to use the language of their profession as required by current recommendations.

Content

Spoken and written communication for business and professional uses
Proof-reading, reports, summaries,essay presentation. References. Business letters, negotiative communication.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to produce publishable texts for various communication documents and channels. They use concepts expertly and in a versatile way and achieve the objectives of the course independently. The students perform extremely convincingly in different public business situations.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to produce more or less publishable texts for various communication documents and channels. They are able to choose the most suitable channels and independently use them in practical situations. The students perform naturally in public business situations.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to produce to some extent publishable texts for various communication documents and channels. They are able to choose appropriate methods and channels for various speaking and written communication situations. They perform to a satisfactory degree in public business situations.
