Objective

Upon completion of the course, the students will understand the usability concepts and the basic techniques of user interface design and implementation.

Content

Content focuses on usability and user interface design. The exercises included in the course examine how usability is evaluated and tested and how the basic elements of user interfaces are used with different techniques. The course also includes the development and construction of interactive activities, the use of user interface elements, and the presentation of architectural solutions for interactive systems. The course includes supervised exercises and a work assignment in groups of 2-3.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

50% of the grade consists of the exam results, 30% of the assignment work and 20% exercises. It is necessary to achieve at least 90% of the maximum amount of available points in the exam and all classroom exercises must be returned.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

50% of the grade consists of the exam results, 30% of the assignment work and 20% exercises. It is necessary to achieve at least 70 % of the maximum amount of available points in the exam and all classroom exercises must be returned.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

50% of the grade consists of the exam results, 30% of the assignment work and 20% exercises. It is necessary to achieve at least 50 % of the maximum amount of available points in the exam and all classroom exercises must be returned.
