Objective
The students are able to communicate orally and in writing in situations required by the tourism industry and business in general, using various means of communication and customer service channels. The students are able to apply for a job abroad.

Tourism entrepreneurship vocabulary
Business communication (inquiry, request for quotation, quotation, order confirmation)
Tourism company communication (reservations, confirmations, cancellations, changes, complaints, payments and invoicing)
Meetings and negotiations
Job application (CV, application/cover letter)

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The students can communicate fluently both in writing and orally on topics related to the field.
The students are able to pronounce clearly.
The students are able to react appropriately and quickly.
The students understand the main points and details of the text and are able to analyze the text. The students are able to use language structures fluently and correctly in the texts they produce. The students are able to write business letters skillfully and use business language expressions and phrases naturally.
The students are able to argue, make suggestions and counter-proposals naturally, and prepare summaries of meetings and negotiations.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students are able to communicate reasonably on topics related to the field. The students are able to react correctly, albeit more slowly.
The students are able to pronounce in a reasonably comprehensible manner.
The students understand the main points of the text and can analyze it to some extent. There are some errors in the structures of the text produced by the students.
The students are able to write business letters relatively well, but the use of set phrases may be limited.
The students are able to argue to some extent and make suggestions in meetings and negotiations meetings and to prepare a short basic summary.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students are able to communicate in writing and to some extent also orally.
Pronunciation is weak, making it difficult to understand speech.
The students are able to react slowly and perhaps inappropriately.
The students understand the text only to a limited extent.
Texts produced by the students contain many grammatical errors.
The students can write short basic letters, but they are unable to use set phrases.
The students ability to use argumentation and make proposals is poor but they are able to write a brief summary of a meeting or negotiation.
To be awarded a grade 1, all assessed assignments must be completed and approved and any possible exam result must be at least 50%.
