Objective
On completing this course, the students will be able to describe how sports and exercise administration is organised and study how sports and exercise are promoted locally. They will be able to describe and explain sports and exercise business opportunities and the principles customer behaviour analysis.
On completing the course, the students will be able to list sports funding sources and compile a project application. They will be able to describe the project implementation process.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students are able to describe the significance of sports and exercise in society. They can explain how it is organised at an administrative level and the core points of the sports and exercise act. They can describe sports and exercise funding and grants procedures and how health promoting exercise is promoted in a municipality.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students are able to explain how sports and exercise is organised in the public, private and third sector. They are able to analyse their home municipalities' health promoting exercise promotion work.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Students are able to interpret sports and exercise extensively as a social phenomenon. They can compile development proposals to promote health promoting exercise and sports in their own municipality. The students are able to assess a peer's learning assignment by comparing it with related theory. They are able to analyse their own work critically.
