Materials
The course material is available on the online platform.
Teaching methods
Independent online studies on the Edukamu course platform.
Exam schedules
Retake (by finishing the remaining assignments) is possible on later realizations of the course. The course lecturer will guide the student for the correct realization.
Completion alternatives
Recognition of previously acquired competence is possible through working life experience or replacement assignments from the course lecturer.
Student workload
The course assignments take roughly 2-4 hours per task to complete. The material is in-depth and accurate but there is a large amount of it to go through. Having previous experience with Office programs will make the course easier but a total beginner should prepare by reserving more time.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The student returns all nine course assignments with acceptable content. An acceptable assignment requires also correcting any mistakes highlighted by the review team.
Content scheduling
Starting info is held for each group at the beginning of the course, after which the student proceeds through the material independently.
Further information
An Office-compatible PC (not phone or tablet device) is required. Students have access to the university's student Microsoft license which allows installing and activating the programs on personal devices.
