Objective

The student will gain practical knowledge about the events in esports industry. Practical skills can be put to use when working in an environment or company that plans, participates or sponsors esports events somehow. This relates to organizing as well as participating in esports events to gain insight of esports as a phenomenon.

Content

The student will participate in esports events and seminars. Events need to include esports or video game related content.

Location and time

At convenient time for students, usually during 2nd and 3rd year of studies.

Teaching methods

Student participation in events. No contact teaching.

Employer connections

Can be completed in an authentic environment for example in building events.

Exam schedules

No exams, written reports.

Student workload

Credits given based on hours accumulated, usually participation in minimum 3 events required.

Participated in at least two seminars. Written reports of events and seminars necessary.
