Introduction to the principles and concepts of 3D game graphics.
Basics of 3D modeling packages

Content

3D modeling packages navigation and interface
Basic tools for low polygon modeling
UV Mapping
Texturing
Basic animation
Cameras
Lighting and rendering

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The students are able to create basic 3D models, UV map and make a simple animation using modern-day 3D modeling package.

They are able to create a simple texture, and make rendering using basic light settings.

Pass: 70% attendance and all work submitted.
