Objective
Students will be proficient in the main terminology and vocabulary of nursing, being able to communicate using spoken and written English in nursing interaction situations. They will be able to converse in English in multicultural nursing situations.

The students are able to use other words to explain a topic and compensate imperceptibly for a lack of vocabulary. They understand and accurately use the vocabulary of their own field. They are also able to communicate fluently in demanding interactive multi-professional and multicultural situations (e.g. dealing with customers, reporting, feedback discussions).

If necessary, students can express an issue in other words. They understand and use the vocabulary of their own field fairly accurately. They are able to communicate clearly in typical interactive multi-professional and multicultural situations (e.g. admission interviews, telephone conversations, instructing).

Students are able to use the basic vocabulary of their field so that the basic message can be understood. They are able to communicate in simple, routine interaction situations (e.g. email, form filling, CV, presenting their department).
