The student understands the Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams software programs and can use them independently in her/his studies and working life in a professional manner.

The scope of the two credits covers the Basic and Advanced levels of the Office software.

Basic:
- Basics of word processing
- Basics of spreadsheet calculation
- Basics of slideshows
- Teams and meeting participation

Advanced:
- Long documents
- Advanced use of Excel
- The keys to a good show

Exam schedules

Uusinta (tehtävien suoritus loppuun) on mahdollista myöhemmillä kurssitoteutuksilla. Ohjaava opettaja ohjaa opiskelijan sopivalle toteutukselle.

Completion alternatives

Office-ohjelmien AHOT on mahdollista työelämäprojektien tai ohjaavan opettajan tehtävien kautta.

Student workload

Tehtäviin on hyvä varata aikaa noin 2-4h per tehtävä. Materiaali on kattavaa ja helppolukuista mutta sitä on runsaasti. Office-ohjelmien aikaisempi osaaminen nopeuttaa opintojakson suorittamista mutta aloittelijan on hyvä varautua käyttämään enemmän aikaa.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Opiskelija palauttaa kaikki kuusi tehtävää hyväksytysti. Tehtävän hyväksytty suoritus vaatii myös palautteessa mahdollisesti ilmenevät korjaukset.

Further information

Tarvitaan Office-yhteensopiva tietokone (ei puhelin tai tabletti). Opiskelijoilla on käytössään korkeakoulun Microsoft-lisenssi jolla ohjelmat saa asennettua ja aktivoitua omille laitteille.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student returns all six assignments with approval. The approved performance of the task also requires corrections that may appear in the feedback.
