Structural features of technical English
Building vocabulary for own field of engineering (construction, Euro codes)
Telephoning and meetings
Presentation of a business / product / service in the field of expertise

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Grade 5
The student is able to fluently and without considerable mistakes apply, adapt and modify spoken and written English language according to the needs of the working life.
The student knows the vocabulary of their field, topics related to current content and produces both written and spoken versatile sentence structures.
The student is proficient in the fundamental terminology of their field.
The student can write about and discuss topics concerning their field of study using the correct terminology.
The student's pronunciation and articulation is clear.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Grade 3-4
The student is able to produce sentences of basic structure in everyday and working life when writing and speaking.
The student recognises and is able to use the fundamental terminology of their field.
The pronunciation and articulation is fairly clear, although errors occur in grammar, choice of words and pronunciation.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Grades 1-2
The student is able to, with a given preparation time, produce sentences of simple structure in English in everyday life and working life when writing and speaking though pronunciation, choice of words and grammar errors occur.
The student recognises the fundamental terminology of their field.
