Objective
The Retail Competence package includes three study courses: The Operating Environment and Competitive Means of Retail, Departmental Personnel and Sales Management, and Key Figures and Management. The aim of the package is to prepare students for working in the retail industry and for creating a career.
The student knows how to manage a trade using key figures. He/she knows the formation of revenues and costs in the retail sector. He/she understands how profitability is formed in the retail sector.

The student will be able to plan sales and profits in different areas of commerce.
The student has an excellent command of budgeting and efficient staffing.
The student will be able to evaluate the effiency and effectiveness of the trade.
The student will have an excellent understanding of the role of the retailer as an employer, entrepreneur and manager of his/her shop.
