Objective

This course provides students with an understanding of the technology and features of field buses used in robotics and industrial automation. The students will use bus configuration tools and diagnostics.

General overview of bus structures, main operating principles, bus data communication technology, bus traffic monitoring, analysis and testing

The students are able to apply different bus solutions when designing and implementing industrial data communications solutions. Excellent performance in the lab exercises and practical assignment-proven applied competence in bus solutions.
