Objective
Students will know the basics of pipeline planning and be able to select and survey the components required in the pipeline and understand the official procedures concerning pipelines.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The students are able to plan a pipeline system with necessary its necessary supports and to select suitable components and pumps for the system.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students are able to draw isometric diagrams of pipes and do technical flow calculations to determine the size of pipes and pipelines.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students are able to interpret drawings of pipelines and are familiar with the most common components of a pipeline as well as the principles of operation of pumps. They are aware of the official regulations and procedures concerning the use of pressure vessels.
