Objective
After completing the course, the student is familiar with concepts related to multiculturalism. He understands the communication differences due to multiculturalism and their challenges in working life, and he understands the influencing factors of cooperation between people from different cultural backgrounds.

Passed = level H3
The student has an excellent knowledge of values related to cultures and features related to communication and culture. The quality of the work is good and the participation is active.
Preparation in advance, returning assignments on schedule and active participation in classroom teaching and distance learning classes.
Objective
After completing the course, the student is familiar with concepts related to multiculturalism. He understands the communication differences due to multiculturalism and their challenges in working life, and he understands the influencing factors of cooperation between people from different cultural backgrounds.
Execution methods
Teaching is face-to-face teaching at the times indicated in the work schedule. Part of the teaching is organized in Kajaani as contact teaching and part through Teams. As a rule, it is not possible to participate in Kajaani's contact teaching days remotely. Lectures are not recorded.
Accomplishment methods
The course includes lectures and exercises. Passing the course requires doing the given exercises. The course requires 80 hours of student work. The course does not include an alternative method of completion, but previous competence can be recognized and acknowledged.
