Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to use professional concepts with expertise and can apply their professional competence as required in different situations. They are able to select the best possible and available calculation parameters for the situation. They are able to analyse and simulate structures and to develop systematic methods and calculation instructions for FEM analysis.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to use a wide range of professional concepts fluently and are able to assess the suitability of methods for different situations in various operational environments. They are able to apply FEM calculation methods to achieve optimal structural solutions.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students know the basic of FEM and can use analysis software to analyse simple structures. They are aware of the significance of the software's limitations and can verify results produced by the Software.
