Objective
The student gets a practical feel for project organization and management, using advanced project management tools. The student understands what the project consists of and what matters are related to working in the project and managing it. The student can outline the phases of project-based activities, understand the related terminology, and can assess any risks related to the project. The student completes project work in which the learned knowledge is applied in a practical research or development task.
Content
A research or development task defined by the customer, where the use of modern software is applied in the organization of operations and/or the solution of a problem.
The project:
- Organizational models
- Design and implementation
- Risk analysis
- Documentation / communication during the project
- Conclusion and follow-up

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The student participates in project-based activities. The student knows how to consistently use the concepts of project activities. The student understands the procedures, techniques and models related to project activities, and is able to map the risks associated with them. The student knows how to evaluate his/ her skills and has an attitude towards teamwork in relation to the rest of the project team. The student can act independently and commit to the project's goals, yet as a full-fledged member of the project team. The student is ready to present the achievements of the project in relation to the set goals.
