Objective
The student knows the key laws and regulations governing the mining sector and learns aspects related to working conditions, work methods and the safe use of machines. In addition, he knows the permits and inspections required for different jobs.

Lectures and exercises.
Accomplishment methods
The course includes lectures and various exercises. The teaching is mainly organized as face-to-face teaching, in which it is also possible to participate remotely. Passing the course requires the completion of both practice assignments and the final exam. The course requires 81 hours of student work. A more detailed course description is presented in the course implementation plan.

Mining Act, regulations of the State Council and the Ministry of Labor and the Economy. Occupational Safety Act and Regulation. The Health Care Act and some decisions of the Government. Workplace safety notices. Licensed works. Physical and psychological occupational health and safety. Occupational health care arrangements. Manager's responsibilities and duties. Initiation. Comfort at work. Occupational safety documents. Hazard assessment. The work community and its impact. Economic effects of occupational safety.
