The students are able to use the property databases of different materials with expertise and can apply their acquired knowledge to solve problems. They can use comparison tools with routine.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to assess the costs of the lifelong use of different structural materials as required. They are able to present comparisons clearly and systematically.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to choose machine construction materials as required under normal conditions. They understand the restrictions of use of structural materials.
