Students will gain knowledge of current questions pertinent to data security and will know the importance of information security in working life and gets to know information security practices in the organization.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students will know the legislation and focus of data security and understand the importance of risk management. They will be able to compile a data security plan based on risk analysis. 90 - 100% of points in the exam.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In addition to a satisfactory level of competence the students are able to identify the needs and focus of data security. They will be proficient in data security methods and can use them if necessary. 65 - 90% of points in the exam.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students will know the foundations, concepts and demands of data security and can use them in their own work. 50 - 65% of points in the exam.

Assessment methods and criteria

Reppu exam: grading 0-5
Cyber security themed presentation: pass/fail

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

The student has not passed the exam and/or the student has not given a presentation on cyber security themed presentation.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students will know the legislation and focus of data security and understand the importance of risk management. 90 - 100% of points in the exam.
