After completing the course, the student:

recognizes the unique dynamics of a virtual team
understands the key factors of a successful virtual team
Content
This course covers the following contents:
Integrated Model of Group Development by Wheelan
Media Choice for communication
Conflict management in virtual teams
Trust in virtual teams
This course consists of the "How to Lead Virtual Teams" interactive guide. The guide will:
Introduce you to a fictional case study of a team and its team leader and members' experiences
Share knowledge on theories related to virtual teams via asynchronous video lectures
Offer tools for working virtually
Students are additionally challenged with further readings of scientific articles

The course is open until May 26, 2024. The course must be completed by its end date.
Teaching methods
This course does not contain lecturing by teachers. Learning takes place 100% online, independently in a self-paced manner.
Although you complete this course completely independently, the "Leading Virtual Teams" course provides the students with an understanding of working virtually in multicultural and interdisciplinary teams.
