Tavoitteet

This course covers the information needed to understand the Human Resource Management aspect of an organization. It will develop an understanding of the skills needed for the formulation and implementation of HRM strategies while providing the basic information necessary to understand the function of management and leadership in an organization.

The course is vital for student's professional development especially in the global business environment.

No exams. The participant is required to participate in the class tasks and a project assignment.

Kansainvälisyys

The course will discuss the application of Human Resource Practices in a variety of contexts, including small enterprises (SMEs) and larger corporations in both domestic and international environments. Furthermore, the students are from international backgrounds with a variety of professional experiences. This is the international network and connection within the course.

* demonstrates basic knowledge of the subject matter through group work, discussions, falling short of 80% attendance
* failed to complete the assessment tasks and coursework that meet the assessment criteria
* failed to participate in the business project
* failed to use and apply the course materials to complete the course tasks and final assignment
* failed to provide source materials if these are introduced by the students from external sources
