Objective
Students will be prepared for action in situations requiring first aid. They will be conversant with the basic principles of prevention and aid with the ability to work in cooperation with other first aiders and helpers.

Teaching methods
During the course participant gets to practise hands-on skills in various first aid topics. Aim of the course is to increase
participant`s courage to take action in emergency situations as well as in smaller everyday incidents. First Aid Course
EA 1® -certificate is valid for three years.

Course content
• action at an emergency
• life-saving procedures in following situations:
• unconcious casualty
• bls (cpr + aed)
• choking
• severe bleeding
• shock
• sudden cases of illness
• wounds
• burns
• bone fractures
• joint injuries
• other injuries
• poisonings
• accident prevention
• health promotion
• psychological first aid
Further information
The course is divided into two parts.
First Aid 1 and First Aid 2. Both are 1 credits and a total of 2 credits
First Aid 2 is recommended to be taken only in the last year of study. The First Aid certificate is valid for three years and therefore before graduation it is advisable to update your certificate with the First Aid 2 course to make it valid for three years.
