Objective
Student gets familiar with the concept of Exergaming and physically active games. The course provides fundamental understanding of the phenomenon and gives also deeper overview to the gaming field. Integration to physical activity ( Health enhancing), physiological outcomes and game entertainment will also be part of the learning process.

Teaching methods
The course consists of contact teaching and independent learning assignments, which can be found in Reppu alongside the course. Through the learning assignments, you will practice mastering and understanding the key contents of the course.

The student can, if desired, organize an Exergaming event in collaboration with working life.

The course requires approximately 81 hours of student work. This is an estimate and the final workload will depend on the amount of time the student spends on the tasks.

Knowledge:
Demonstrate ability to systematically use the concepts of exergaming with ability to name, describe and give reasons for basic knowledge of the theories and concepts of exergaming
