Objective

Azure Fundamentals is a course that’s all about Microsoft Azure, a cloud computing platform offering dozens of different services for multiple use cases. Cloud platforms, such as Azure, are becoming increasingly popular in today’s digital society, and after this course, you will have a solid knowledge of the opportunities Azure offers.

This course is suitable IT personnel who are just beginning to work with cloud-based solutions and services or are new to Azure. Azure Fundamentals provides you with everything you need to get started with the platform.

Content

The course consists of three units:

Introduction to Azure
Data, Storage and Safety
Governance and Cost Management

Location and time

You can advance at your own pace and move around the course platform as you go – take your time to review from time to time and get the most out of your studies.

The course is an independent online course.

Approximately 54 hours (1 credit = 27 hours).

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

You must complete every assignment in order to pass the course.

The course is completed on Edukamu -onlineplatform. Register for the course in https://cs.edukamu.fi/azure-fundamentals.

For degree students the study credit is automatically registered into PAKKI system within short delay.

Prerequisites

Having general IT knowledge will help you get the most from your learning experience. It is recommended that you complete the Elements of Cloud and Cybersecurity course offered via Microsoft Skills for Jobs before taking on this course.
