The student:

Is able to construct a description of the human being as a physical, functional entity.
Understands the key etiology of diseases at the cellular and tissue levels, as well as the structural changes associated with diseases, and understands the potential effects of genetics and the environment in the development of disease conditions.

The student knows the structure and function of the human body and can describe the relationship between the functions.

The student is able to describe the functioning of the human body's organ systems logically and in-depth, demonstrating mastery of the entirety.
