Objective
Students will be able to produce alternative renovation plans including a selection of materials for elevation renovations.
Students will be conversant with large elevation renovation methods and they will also be able to make renovation plans using the condition estimate and compile the necessary documents.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The students are able to select cost-efficient and technically appropriate methods of repair and materials when conducting sandwich elevation repairs. They are proficient in examining and managing investments and life-cycle of a building under repair and can provide reasons for the investment and life-cycle related benefits of alternative methods of repair to the client.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students are familiar with the methods and processes of repairing a building undergoing sandwich elevation repairs.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students are able to recognise various materials used and to be used in the fascia/elevation of a residential block of flats and they are familiar with the most common damage of concrete elevation structures and how they become damaged.
