Objective

The learner will learn or recall the main parts of a computer. There will be an introduction to the parts at a general level and a discussion of the role of the parts within a computer.
The learner will also understand the main concept and purpose of software in computers. There will be a brief discussion of the multiple purposes of computers and their interoperability over the internet, for example in the case of version control.
In addition to system software, there will be a brief mention of major applications and what goes with them and how they interact with system software and computer hardware.

95 % or more of the total score

Assessment criteria, good (3)

71 to 94 % of the total score.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

50 to 70 % of the total score.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Failed: Less than 50 % of the total score.
