Objective

The student gets an understanding of electric energy production, transmission, distribution systems, requirements set by the operating conditions of electricity and protection methods. The student knows how to choose motors, starting and control methods for various electrical applications. He knows how to calculate the price comparisons of different forms of energy and electricity tariffs, and he masters power calculations.

Electric energy production, transmission and distribution systems

Electric motor technology and electric motor drives
Electrical work safety training is included in the course

The student understands the basics and importance of electrical safety, as well as the basics of dimensioning motor drives.
