Objective

In studies, the focus is on various speech communication situations in the workplace and preparation for them. The studies provide tools for clear, goal-oriented, and impactful speech communication as an expert. Additionally, topics such as stage fright and its management are addressed. In addition, the studies provide theoretical knowledge about communication, especially oral communication.

As a communicator, nonverbal communication, visualization, impactful communication, stage fright.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student critically reflects on their own communicator image, identifying strengths and areas for development as a public speaker.

The student can analyze the nonverbal communication of their communication partner from various perspectives. They also consider verbal communication in their own presentations.

The student can employ various methods for visualizing speech presentations. They can tailor their speech presentation to the target audience based on audience analysis. They know how to use different argumentation techniques in their speech presentations and can analyze and evaluate the argumentation of their communication partner.

The student is aware of factors influencing stage fright and knows and can utilize methods to accept and alleviate it.

The student can create and deliver an impactful speech.

The student is able to integrate communication analysis and the planning and execution of communication tasks into the theoretical background of communication.
