Objective

Student
- strengthen their knowledge of methodological approaches in RTD activities
- be able to lead and reform RTD activities in line with the organisation's strategy
- master the methods of acquiring and developing scientific knowledge in support of RTD activities, their application and the evaluation of their results
- can develop and manage (projects) regionally and socially effective RTD activities in accordance with ethical values
- be able to work at the interfaces of cooperation networks with an emphasis on customer orientation and customer involvement/participation
- possesses an investigative, critical and reflective approach to development in the management of change processes
- can critically assess the usefulness of R&D&I activities

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Students will be able to manage the R&D&I process in a goal-oriented, innovative and planned way, based on evaluation. He or she will manage the overall R&D&I process and develop it in a systematic and controlled manner, justifying solutions critically and comprehensively. The student has a good command of the methodologies supporting the R&D&I process and is able to evaluate their applicability in a critical and comprehensive manner. He/she is able to set up a project organisation supporting the R&D&I process, involving its actors in R&D&I activities. The student will be able to analyse and justify the development needs of the sector in a forward-looking way, in cooperation with the actors in the working community and experts in the field, and integrate them into the operational context, the social context and previous knowledge in the field of education. Students will be able to reform workplace practices on the basis of evidence and create new conceptual ways of thinking about practice and application.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to manage the R&D&I process with goal-oriented evaluation. He/she recognises the whole process and is able to justify decisions. The student will be able to assess the appropriateness of the methodology supporting the R&D&I process in a thematically justified manner. They can set up a project organisation supporting the R&D&I process, involving its actors in R&D&I activities.
-can justify the development needs of the sector in a forward-looking way in cooperation with the actors in the working community and experts in the field and integrate them into the operational context, the social context and previous knowledge in the field of education and training
-can work at the interfaces of networks
-modifies working practices on the basis of evidence and is able to demonstrate the benefits (change)

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to manage the R&D&I process in a goal-oriented way and to recognise the overall R&D&I process. He/she is able to select a methodology that supports the R&D&I process in accordance with the subject matter with poor reasoning. The student will be able to set up a project organisation to support the R&D&I process.
-can justify the development needs of the sector in a forward-looking way in cooperation with the actors in the working community and experts in the field
-can make use of existing networks
- can produce information that is useful for working life practices
