Objective
The aim of the course is to give students a basic understanding of the importance and opportunities of data science, concepts and solutions in business through real-life business examples and/or webinars. The course will also explore the impact of data economy on business models and analyse different data ecosystems.
- Students will understand the concepts and importance of data economy in business.
- Students will be able to analyse the impact of the data economy on business models and identify key drivers in data ecosystems.
- Students will be able to apply the concepts learned to practical business examples and assess their business potential.
- Students will be able to assess the structures of data ecosystems and the roles of actors in different sectors of the economy.
- They will be able to communicate the opportunities and challenges of the data economy as part of organisational decision making.
