Exam schedules

This course consists of three weekly tasks and one research assignment due on 10 November.
If the students fail the course in the semester it is offered, the course will be completed by way of a retake exam.

International connections

The course will discuss the application of Human Resource Practices in a variety of contexts, including small enterprises (SMEs) and larger corporations in both domestic and international environments. Furthermore, the students are from international backgrounds with a variety of professional experiences. This is the international network and connection within the course.

* Attendance is not part of the course assessment; absentees are expected to watch the recordings at their convenience.

* Absentees must complete all the tasks by the due date, and a penalty will be imposed if they fail to submit on time.

* Students are expected to participate in the assessment presentation on the date it takes place (the third online session). Every student must present at this task.

Assessment methods and criteria

Forum discussion and review task - Individual task for three topics (5 points each = 15 points) * Presentations:

1) megatrends and HRM and

2) motivation theories - Group presentation (10 points each = 20 points)

* Producing mind maps from the lectures (video recordings) - 10 points
* Final research assignment - Group task interviewing three managers with at least five years of people management experience to research the impact of digitalization on human resource management practices. Produce a group report of 4000-5000 words including literature review, analysis, discussion, and learning reflection (50 points)

Student failed to

* demonstrates basic competency and knowledge of the subject matter through group work, discussions, course task, and/or final assignment

* failed to complete the assessment tasks and coursework that meet the assessment criteria

* failed to use and apply the course materials to complete the course tasks and final assignment

* failed to provide source materials if these are introduced by the students from external sources
