Objective
The aim of the course is to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the importance of occupational safety in business. The student knows and understands the concepts and significance of occupational safety and health and the key legislation. The course prepares students to develop occupational safety proactively, to assess risks, to anticipate hazardous situations and to act safely and responsibly in various work tasks.
Execution methods
The course is completed either as a short-term or distance education or blended learning.
Accomplishment methods
The completion of the course consists of lectures, various exercises, and assignments in a learning environment as well as independent study.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The student has achieved the basic objectives of the course and understands the basic principles related to occupational safety as a whole and the importance of occupational safety. The limit of accepted performance is 70% of the maximum score.
