Objective
To provide an overview of high school chemistry and to increase students' knowledge of environmental chemistry.
Content
The Periodic table, mole and reactions.
Concentration and pH concept. Chemical balance.
Acids and bases.
Oxidation and reduction.
Electrochemistry

The students are able to analyse the problems in hand and produce alternative methods of solving them.

The students are able to draw conclusions from the problems in hand.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students recognise the basic quantities of the topic. The students are able to find suitable equations for solving problems and solve them.
Objective
To provide an overview of high school chemistry and to increase students' knowledge of environmental chemistry.
Execution methods
The course includes lectures and calculation exercises. Teaching is mainly organized as teams teaching. Passing the course requires active calculation exercises and passing the final exam. The course includes approx. 81 hours of student work.
