Objective

The student understands the content of basic concepts in national economy and comprehends the cause-and-effect relationships of micro- and macroeconomics. The student identifies key concepts of global, international economy. The student is able to acquire current, reliable information about the economy. The student familiarizes themselves with their own personal finance and influencing factors.

The student can use individual basic concepts of economics.
The student identifies some cause-and-effect relationships in micro- and macroeconomics.
The student recognizes a few key concepts of global, international economics.

Objective

The student understands the content of basic concepts in national economy and comprehends the cause-and-effect relationships of micro- and macroeconomics. The student identifies key concepts of global, international economy. The student is able to acquire current, reliable information about the economy. The student familiarizes themselves with their own personal finance and influencing factors.

Execution methods

Face-to-face lessons once a week.

Accomplishment methods

The course requires 135 hours of student work. To pass the course, students must pass the exam, complete all course assignments and attend and participate in class. A more detailed description of the course is given in the course implementation plan.
