Sisällön jaksotus
The work hours can be accumulated during 2026, but also during the spring and summer semesters of 2027 if needed. Students will work in various roles at different events, which may take place on weekdays or weekends and at varying times. Participating in events is always agreed upon the teacher.
Tavoitteet
The students will participate in producing an event. They be able to work within different roles within the event in a responsible and expert way as well as to evaluate the success of the event.

Opetusmenetelmät
During this course, students participate in different events and accumulate practical work hours (100 hours). Students report the hours worked, provide supporting evidence, and evaluate their learning in a written report.
Students may:
• participate in events suggested by the teacher
• independently search for opportunities in various types of events and obtain teacher approval
• independently look for internship opportunities with professional event organisations
• suggest alternative ways to complete event work, subject to teacher approval
• have prior event work accredited upon providing credible evidence

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus
The course requires approximately 135 hours of student work, including 100 hours of practical event work and 35 hours dedicated to documenting and reflecting on that work.
Arviointikriteerit, hyväksytty/hylätty
The course is assessed on a pass–fail scale. To pass, students must complete at least 100 hours of approved practical event work and submit a written report that follows the given instructions.
Lisätiedot
The written report consists primarily of the student’s own reflections on the event work. Artificial intelligence cannot take on the role of the student; therefore, its use in producing the report is prohibited.
