Objective
Students will be conversant with basic mineral processing, the properties of granulose material, the unit processes and equipment of particle engineering. Students will know basic beneficiation methods and the structures of beneficiation equipment. Students will gain knowledge of the separation of solids from water/gas mixtures.
Execution methods
Teaching is face-to-face teaching. Participating in the teaching is possible via remote connection according to the schedule. Recorded lectures are available throughout the academic year. Visiting lecturers where possible.
Final exam and/or course thesis.
Accomplishment methods
The course includes lectures and various exercises. The teaching is mainly organized as face-to-face teaching, in which it is also possible to participate remotely. Passing the course requires the completion of both practice assignments and the final exam. The course requires 135 hours of student work. The course includes laboratory exercises of 2 credits (54 hours of student work).
A more detailed course description is presented in the course implementation plan.
