Objective

The student will understand the differences and similarities between hybrid and virtual events. The student can understand the experience of the customer in creating the event.

Execution methods

Contact, remote teaching and independent study.

Accomplishment methods

The course includes lectures and practical lessons. To pass the course, students must complete the exercises on time and participate in classroom situations. The course requires 54 hours of student work. A more detailed description of the course is given in the course implementation plan.

The customer experience in different event formats.
Event scripting.
Event platforms.

Teaching methods

Learning in the course consists of lectures and activities completed during contact days, online, and independently.

Student workload

The course scope is 2 ECTS (1 ECTS = 27 hours of work). It consists of contact and online meetings as well as independent study, which includes homework assignments.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Passed
The student will be able to identify the terminology and select the appropriate event platform for the event. The student will be able to script the event with sufficient accuracy.

Fail
The student does not know the terminology of the field and the scripting of the event is illogical.

This course is part of the specialization studies. Enrollment in this course requires enrollment in the other Event Management module courses: Event Design, Safety in Events, Sustainable Event, Profitable Event, and Field‑specific Event Production.
