Objective
The student:
Is able to assess the care needs of the client/patient and use appropriate nursing methods to meet these needs.
Is able to act aseptically correct.
Is able to recognize the nutritional status of the client/patient and apply nutrition and care recommendations tailored for different age and target groups, as well as implement enteral nutrition in a patient-safe manner.
Is able to act according to the ethical principles of nursing when encountering a dying patient and their relatives.
Is able to identify a person in need of first aid and act appropriately in first aid situations.

During the course participant gets to practise hands-on skills in various first aid topics. Aim of the course is to increase
participant`s courage to take action in emergency situations as well as in smaller everyday incidents.
