Tavoitteet

The student:
Will be able to engage in dialogue with people in crisis who are suffering from mental health problems and addiction.
Will be able to support them as needed, in a capacity-building manner and by strengthening their participation in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in cooperation with those involved in their care.
Understands the concept of domestic violence, recognize potential domestic violence, and know how to guide clients and patients in such situations.
Utilizes assistance methods used in mental health and substance abuse care as well as electronic health services.
Understand methods used in suicide prevention work

Opetusmenetelmät

Lähiopetus; opetuskeskustelu, luennot, harjoitustunnit ja simulaatio-opetus.
Opiskelu toteutuu lähiopetuksena ja verkko-opetuksena.
Opinnot on suunniteltu etenevän tietyssä järjestyksessä, jotta osaaminen kehittyy perusteista soveltavaan tasoon.

Verkkotehtävistä osa toteutuu pakollisina (Terveyden ja hyvinvoinnin laitos Itsemurhien ehkäisy verkkokoulu ja tietotesti).
Lähiopetustunneilla on läsnäolovelvollisuus M-merkityillä harjoitus- ja simulaatiotunneilla.

Tämän opintojakson tehtävissä tuotos tulee luoda ilman tekoälyn apua. Opiskelijan tulee käyttää vain omia tietojaan, ymmärrystään ja taitojaan. Tekoälyn käyttäminen on kielletty perustellusta syystä ja tulkitaan vilpiksi.

Ohje simulaatio opiskeluun:
Simulaatioissa harjoittelet sairaanhoitajana toimimista simulaatioympäristössä
Simulaatioissa tavoitteena
osaat tunnistaa ja arvioida asiakkaan/potilaan (mielen)terveyttä uhkaavan tilan
osaat turvata asiakkaan fyysisen ja psyykkisen turvallisuuden
osaat arvioida hoidon tarpeen
osaat tarvittaessa konsultoida muita terveydenhuollon asiantuntijoita
Valmistaudu simulaatioon opiskelemalla teoria ja kertaamalla ISBAR.

Harjoittelu- ja työelämäyhteistyö

Harjoittelun edeltävyysehdot ovat samat kuin muissakin ammattiaineiden harjoittelussa. Harjoittelu on pääsääntöisesti teoriaopetuksen jälkeisenä lukukautena.
