Objective
The goal of the customer project is to strengthen the student's professional skills and expertise in a work-oriented project. The main goal of the project is to put into practice the knowledge and skills acquired in previous studies and to deepen the knowledge of a data engineer in the areas required by the project. The projects have variable content.
Execution methods
Guided or independent project work.
Accomplishment methods
You can complete the projects of the module with a scope of 5 ECTS credits or try to complete a 10 ECTS or 15 ECTS project at once. The module's projects have variable content, which enables them to be completed as e.g. summer studies or additional projects.
If the student has not completed customer projects before their actual timing, project instructions are offered to students on behalf of KAMK.
Possible merit numbers are agreed upon with the education manager.
By default, 1 credit corresponds to 27 hours of student work. In addition, the student is required to have appropriate documentation, class records and a learning diary.

Student workload
Oletusarvoisesti 1 opintopiste vastaa 27 tuntia opiskelijan työtä. 5 opintopisteen laajuinen projekti edellyttää vähintään 100 tunnin projektityöskentelyä (tuntikirjanpito edellytyksenä).
Further information
Moduulin projektit voi suorittaa 5 op:n laajuisina yksittäisinä tai pyrkiä kerralla suorittamaan 10 op:n tai 15 op:n laajemman projektin. Moduulin projektiaiheet ovat mahdollisuuksien mukaan opiskelijalähtöisiä, mikä mahdollistaa niiden suorittamisen esim. kesäopintoina tai ylimääräisinä projekteina.
