- Elektroniikkasuunnitteluun liittyvät perusasiat, elektroniikansuunnitteluprosessi ja sen keskeiset vaiheet.
- Operaatiovahvistimet ja niiden soveltaminen mittaussovelluksissa.
- Analogisen anturin sovittaminen mikrokontrollerille/analogia-digitaalimuuntimelle
- Teholähdesuunnittelu
- Aiheisiin liittyviä eritasoisia itsenäisesti/pienryhmissä toteutettavia harjoitus- ja suunnittelutehtäviä.
Kytkentöjen simulointi.
- Tarvittavien mittausohjelmistojen suunnittelu, toteutus ja testaus esim. Arduino-alustalla.
Objective
The student knows the basic topologies of operational amplifiers and their basic properties and how to use them to fit an analog sensor to a microcontroller and modify an analog signal in smart measurement applications (e.g., internet of things applications, smart system applications). The student knows how to specify, plan, and implement the matching connection of an analog sensor and also knows how to use the necessary simulation and web tools. The student can use mathematics (e.g., linear functions) in the modeling of applications, in the adaptation of analog sensors, and in the software processing of the measured physical quantity. The student can also design and implement simple measurement software.

Content
The basics related to electronics design, the electronics design process and its key stages. Operational amplifiers and their application in measurement applications. Adapting an analog sensor to a microcontroller/analog-to-digital converter and related exercises and planning tasks of various levels carried out independently/in small groups. Simulation of connections. Principles of planning, implementation, and testing of the necessary measurement software.
