Content scheduling

Opintojakso koostuu omavalintaisen projektin suunnittelusta, toteutuksesta sekä dokumentoinnista. Lisäksi kurssilla on palautettava raportti sekä esitys, joka kertoo projektista. Esitykset kurssin lopussa.

Objective

The students will gain a broader understanding the Datacenter environment and can work with different stakeholders.

Content

The students will participate in Datacenter training courses such as seminars, lectures by experts in the field, and by acquiring selected certifications.

Location and time

Opintojakso toteutetaan kevätlukukaudella. Kesto tammikuusta toukokuuhun. Opintojaksoon kuuluu itsenäistä työskentelyä sekä mahdollisuus työskennellä lähiopetus kerroilla.

Student workload

Opintojakso vaatii noin 135 tuntia opiskelijan työtä. 35 tuntia käytetään raportin ja esityksen laadintaan ja esitykseen. Loput 100 tuntia työtä liittyvät projektityöhön. Nämä määrät ovat suuntaa antavia ja lopullinen työmäärä määrittyy opiskelijan itsensä käyttämästä ajasta työskentelyyn.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The students are able to work in complex situations, can organise and manage a team and its work, and work responsibly. The course will be considered successfully accomplished when the project is ready and the time used to complete it matches the hours put by for the course.

Fail: the student is not able to work in complex situations, organise and manage a team and its work and cannot work responsibly. 1 credit=27 hours of work
