Objective

Introduction to basic principles and tools of 2D game graphics.

Content

Tools and roles of a computer game artist.
The artist within a company
Photoshop and Illustrator interface and tools
2D game graphics in game engines
Understanding composition, colour, light, shape and texture
History of game graphics and glances to art history.

The course has attendance requirement of at least 80% of lectures.
