Evaluation methods and criteria
The course assignments be done according to the specifications announced in Reppu, so that the minimum requirements for the assginments are fulfilled. If the minimum requirements are not met and given instructions to fix are not met by 24.8.2026 course will be graded as Failed. If the student does not return the assignments, course will be graded as Failed
Late assignments are accepted until 24.8.2026. If the student does not return the assignments by then, the course will be graded as Failed and course needs to be retaken along an upcoming implementation.
If something prevents you from submitting your work on time, apply for an extension immediately. Such a reason could be, for example, illness or a compulsory move due to water damage. Communicate with the teacher as soon as you become aware of the delay. A pre-agreed change to the completion deadline will not affect the assessment. Late returns are to be agreed upon before 29.5.2026, requests after this time will not be taken into account.

The course includes about 40h of contact lectures or student's independent studies and about 41h of working on the hand-in assignments
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Student passes the course when returns the assignments according to the specifications by the dates informed at the beginning of the course.
If the assignment does not fill the criteria, the required changes need to be completed by 24.8.2026 or the course will be graded Failed.
Late assignments are accepted until 24.8.2026. If the student does not return the assignments by then, the course will be graded as Failed and course needs to be retaken along an upcoming implementation.
The course work must be completed independently to the extent defined in the assignment instructions of the Reppu course. If a student uses copyrighted works in violation of their licenses, the course will be failed and the case will be handled according to KAMK’s processes for suspected plagiarism.
We follow Arene's AI Traffic Light model, with the traffic light RED: Use of artificial intelligence in the course is prohibited. If a student uses artificial intelligence in submitted course work, such use of AI will be considered cheating and the case will be handled according to KAMK’s processes for suspected cheating. This prohibition affects the submitted, delivered files for assignments, for ideation and as a reference material use of AI is allowed.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The students are able to create basic 3D models, UW map it and make a simple animation using 3DS Max.
They are able to create a a simple texture, and make rendering using basic light settings.
Pass: 80% attendance and all work submitted.
