Objective
The students understands the basics of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams applications and is able to use them professionally during their studies and working life.
Execution methods
The online studies are divided into multiple chapters which go through the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint starting from the beginning and continuing into more advanced features. The student learns to use the programs through independent use, by completing course tasks with the online study materials. The course team gives active feedback to the student for all returned assignments. The student is also able to ask for additional tutoring through email, the course discussion forum or in the context of returning assignments.

The online course contains a total of six returnable Office assignments.
Content
Three credits include the Fundamentals and Advanced levels of Office programs.
Fundamentals:
- Basics of Text Processing
- Basics of Spreadsheets
- Basics of Slide Shows
- Participating in Meetings with Teams
Advanced:
- Long Documents
- Advanced Use of Excel
- The Keys to a Good Presentation
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The student returns all six assignments with an acceptable level. Assignment completion requires also making any changes pointed out in the assignment feedback.
